Sarah Mynard is a Consultant Solicitor Advocate at Scott-Moncrieff, specialising in dental negligence claims.

Dual-qualified as a Solicitor Advocate and Barrister, Sarah has more than 30 years’ experience in personal injury and clinical negligence law, including over 25 years specialising in dental negligence. She has personally handled more than 2,000 dental negligence cases involving a wide range of treatments, injuries and dental professionals.

Sarah advises clients who have received treatment from private and NHS dentists, NHS trusts, hygienists and other dental professionals. She understands that pursuing a dental negligence claim can feel daunting and provides clear, practical advice throughout the process.

EXPERIENCE

Sarah began specialising in personal injury and clinical negligence law in 1991. Before joining Scott-Moncrieff, she founded Wisdom Law Limited, a specialist dental negligence practice, in 2009. She led the firm until 2020, when she closed the practice to join Scott-Moncrieff.

Earlier in her career, Sarah was an equity partner at Sussex law firm Farrington Webb, where she headed the litigation department for more than a decade.

Sarah has also practised as a barrister and was formerly a tenant at 3PB, where she was a member of the Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence Team. Her academic and professional roles have included working as a visiting tutor in dispute resolution at the University of Law and as an SQE examiner.

Sarah has also supported developments intended to strengthen protection for dental patients, including campaigning for mandatory professional indemnity insurance for dentists.
