We act for sentenced prisoners on a wide range of prison law issues including parole, adjudications, categorisation, risk assessment and access to treatment. We have a particular expertise in representing life sentence prisoners. Many of our clients are vulnerable, for example with mental health problems or learning disability. We pursue public law remedies against the Ministry of Justice, the Parole Board and
probation services where necessary.
We act for clients in England and Wales.
We have a contract with the Legal Services Commission so can offer legal aid, subject to eligibility criteria. If you are not eligible we can advise on private funding arrangements.
