Suzette Bridgemohan qualified as a solicitor in 2005 and specialises in Mental Health Law. Prior to qualifying she also trained in both family and matrimonial work. She is a member of the Law Society's Mental Health Panel.
Her work with detained clients is varied. She has a particular interest in restricted clients including prisoners transferred to hospital. She acts for those in maximum security to those discharged into the community. She has also acted on behalf of nearest relatives in County Court Displacement Proceedings.
As well as undertaking advocacy at First Tier Tribunal (Mental Health) hearings, Suzette also has experience in representing clients in hospital before the Parole Board and some prison law matters.
She pursues judicial review cases in the High Court. She also assists and advises in respect of renewal or contested Hospital Managers hearings.
Suzette is also part of the Criminal Cases Review Commission Unit within the firm.
She practices primarily in Berkshire, Enfield, Essex, London and Kent.
