Jean Wells qualified in 1975. For the last 30 years(or so) she has worked almost entirely in the filed of public law child care and adoption cases, primarily in private practice but also for local authorities. She has been Legal Advisor to a Voluntary Adoption Agency for the last 20 years and has been an elected member of the BAAF Legal Advisory Group Committee.

Jean has been a member of the SRA Children Act Panel since 1985.

Jean is based in Bolton, Greater Manchester, and is able to act for clients in the North West in both care and adoption proceedings.
