We specialise in care proceedings and adoption cases and can help and assist you if your children and family are involved with social services. We can represent parents or, on occasion, other relatives. We are also appointed in some cases to represent the children.

Legal aid in care cases is free, regardless of income or capital, if you are a child or a parent or a person with parental responsibility. In other cases legal aid is dependent upon means and merits testing.

We also assist parents in disputes about their children such as with whom they should live (residence) and what arrangements should be in place for them to see the other parent (contact). Legal aid for these cases is means and merits tested.

We cover care cases in South West England and London and residence and contact cases in and around London.
